Ricardo Gazzini is a jazz DJ, promoter and radio broadcaster who has performed his selection of jazz from lounge, latin, modern, bebop to the sounds of crooners and big band swing. At an early age he'd heard some of the greatest jazz musicians around but never expected later in life to play at some of the best jazz festivals from VIP receptions, warm up and interlude sets between some of the finest artists around and resident DJ at the biggest swing/jive festival and the showman's show both based in the UK. His choices of music is welcomed by musicians who appreciate his underpinned approach to never overstage an act. Playing some of the finest jazz around from artists past and present, he's a true master when it comes to creating an atmosphere from the true lounge experience to the best in big band swing in selecting tracks away from the standard norm. Many promoters respect Ricardo's professional approach and delivery resulting in holding crowds, maintaining continuity which works well at festivals. This lead him to endorse the jazz Bluenote brand as the first DJ in the UK to achieve such an honour. |

As a member of the NOEA and Equity it enables him to provide consultancy work within the private and public sectors, selecting appropriate music for inhouse and outdoor leisure activities including compere and hosting fete's and shows and future plans to advise on advertising and film audio.
Apart from performing at corporate events, gala dinners, festivals and private functions Ricardo Gazzini established himself as a radio presenter and won a jazz award through the HBA on his radio show and many regard him as the new voice of jazz with interviews on some of the best jazz artists around. Ricardo is selective in his choice of music and thinks like a jazz musician, with good melody and likes to show respect to past musicians and a learning curve perspective for new jazz followers and of course Ricardo has the flexibility to play a cross range of seamless music from pianists, saxophonists, guitarists, to retro crooners and the sound of the big band in varied tempo's and his love of spreading good music in situations never imagined.
He believes the focus should be on the crowd and it's how you monitor the reaction from enhancing the vibe of a venue from people who like to mingle and later who want to dance the night away adding a touch of class without thumping dance beats from conventional DJs.
